Mocha Banana Smoothie

Smoothies are a great way to get the needed nutrients and vitamins in one glass. But who wants to have the same old smoothie day after day? Since I enjoy coffee and bananas, I wanted to experiment and came up with this yummy treat.

Mocha Banana Smoothie
Recipe type: Smoothie
Serves: 2
  • 1¼ cups low fat milk, almond milk or soy milk
  • ½ cup silken soft tofu
  • 1 frozen ripe banana
  • 1-2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp instant coffee crystals (espresso works wonders)
  • 2 ice cubes (if not using ice cubes)
  • Ground cinnamon (optional)
  1. Add milk, tofu, banana, and 1 tbsp of honey into blender.
  2. Add coffee powder and mix well until frothy.
  3. Add and ice cubes if needed and blend.
  4. Taste and add more honey and ground cinnamon if desired.
  5. Serve and enjoy!

    Sounds totally delicious Daisy, I too love coffee and bananas so I am keen to try this.

    Sounds yumbo Daisy. I would just add a protein powder shake to this to round it off. Thanks for sharing.
