Today is December 1st and not only is it our 23rd wedding anniversary it is also the start of Advent. Advent is what our family as Christians celebrate; a time of waiting and preparation for the glorious day of the Nativity of Jesus at Christmas.
This day marks the day that many will also begin to take down their fall and Thanksgiving decorations and begin to decorate for Christmas. Not only is the home decorated but most will also decorate a tree. Although the decorating of an evergreen or artificial tree has no significant meaning it is still a fun activity to do with your family and friends.
So, with the Advent Season upon us I went on the hunt for ways that others celebrate this wonderful season.
Here are 7 different ways to create a unique advent calendar.
